Yes you can, just bring it to the till in any Omniplex cinema and one of our staff will confirm the expiry date for you.
We are afraid not. Love Cinema Gift Cards purchased from Omniplex Cinemas can be redeemed in any cinema in the currency in which it was purchased (euro or sterling). Gift Cards purchased in cinemas in Northern Ireland cannot be used in cinemas in the Republic of Ireland. And vice-versa, those that were purchased at a cinema Republic of Ireland cannot be used at cinemas in Northern Ireland.
That’s no problem, just use the balance on your card and pay the remaining cost with an alternative means of payment.

‘Audio Desc’ or Audio Description is a feature we offer for the visually impaired in some of our cinemas in Northern Ireland. This along with general sound track describes the setting and scenes within the film. You will require a headset which can be obtained at the box office. This does not affect the general viewing of the film. Audio Description films are listed with ‘Audio Desc’ beside the show time. Student prices are for third level students with a valid and in date third level student card.
Child Price is aged 13 and under. Teen price are for patrons aged 14-18.
Any valid form of photo ID that details your date of birth is acceptable. Examples would be a school ID cards, third level student cards, passport, travel cards etc.
Visa and Master cards are accepted including both in debit form. We do not accept maestro cards.

HFR is a film format meaning High Frame Rate. Normal film is projected in 24 frames per second with HFR being projected in 48 frames per second. The human eye stops recognising individual frames at 55fps so HFR is the closest you will see to a real image on screen.

Yes, depending on the age ratings of the film in question. Unfortunately by law certain classifications do not allow anyone under a certain age regardless if they can understand the content of a film or not. An example would be an 18 rated film, anyone under 18 cannot attend this film even of a child/baby is 6 months old. See BBFC and IFCO websites for details.
Pre-show advert and trailer lengths can vary anywhere from 7mins to 17mins before a film. We would always recommend to arrive in advance of the advertised film start time as there may be queues.
Yes, but we would advise you to be aware of the content before entering the auditorium as there may be loud noises in the film. We would also ask you to ensure your guide dog has relieved him/herself prior to entering the auditorium and should there be any soilage please use you your doggy poop bag and notify a member of staff.
These are designated screenings which have the volume slightly lowered and lights remain on a low level during the performance. We ensure that the performance is never sold beyond 50% and schedule at off peak times to avoid large crowded times of the day.

The MyOmniplex 10% discount applies to all regular movie screenings, MAXX tickets and VIP seating (where available) when booked on line through your MyOmniplex account.
Special events, one off screenings, live events, and Tuesday Treats’ prices are not included in the MyOmniplex 10% discount. Examples of special events not included are live concerts, the ballet, opera, Newstalk Movie Club, any double or triple bill screenings where a special prices has been applied (note they generally already include discounts.)

No type of video recording devices are permitted to be used in any auditorium, be they video camers, cameras on phones, Google Glass or any such device with a video recording function.
We do provide complementary tickets to carers on the presentation of The Carers Association of Ireland (http://www.carersireland.com) membership card, also known as a ‘CI Card’. This card is accepted at all Omniplex Cinemas in the Republic of Ireland and excludes Northern Ireland. Films classified 15A are considered to have parts of the film which are suitable for those over the age of 15 by the Irish Films Classification Office. However, they can also be seen by a person younger than 15 years provided they are accompanied by an adult over the age of 18.
Ticket prices depend on a few different factors including your age, the day, and the time of the film. To check the price of a ticket, simply click on film you’d like to see, choose the time you’d like, and it will give you the price of each ticket type for that showing.
